Come spend a couple of hours with the amazing glass artists of Solinglass Studios. This session is all about the basic techniques of glassblowing. Turn molten glass on a pipe and use tools, heat, gravity, and air pressure to transform it into hollow vessels such as a cup or simple vase. All participants will walk away with a small paperweight and something that holds water.
Students should bring a water bottle and safety glasses (sunglasses or prescription glasses will be fine.) Cotton or wool is the best fabric to wear, closed-toe, comfortable shoes, and long sleeves are recommended.
Glass items will be available for pickup the following day or can be shipped for an additional charge. Limited to 8 students.
